Andrew Paul Montague
Andrew Montague is an IFTA-nominated, award-winning Irish writer and director, and an MA graduate of the renowned London Film School.
He writes and directs narrative films and commercial content for Condé Nast brands including Architectural Digest, Traveler, Vanity Fair, and Allure, working with top international talent such as Margot Robbie, Jenna Ortega and Michael Fassbender.
Andrew’s acclaimed short film "My Other Suit is Human" received an Irish Academy Award nomination for Best Short Film and screened at more than 20 international festivals worldwide. The film premiered at the 32nd Galway Film Fleadh in the New Talent Irish Shorts section and was later showcased at the Oscar-qualifying 16th HollyShorts Film Festival. It has been acquired by RTÉ to be shown on their shorts section on TV and on their player.
It is currently being developed into Andrew's debut feature film.
Andrew’s work has also been nominated for Best Short Film at the Emerging Directors Awards. His previous films have screened at festivals across Los Angeles, Chicago, and London.
He has previously been shortlisted for prestigious bursary awards from Film Offaly and the Isle of Man Film Fund. He was selected to pitch his work to the BFI at the Aesthetica Film Festival and was chosen as a delegate for the 2025 Stowe Story Labs roster.
Andrew is currently developing his next short film, "Baked To Death", with Andrew McCarthy attached to star. He is developing his debut feature film while continuing to direct a range of short-form projects.
